Ordering the Google Pixel 6 was an exciting move for me. Something different, something fresh, something NEW.
Being an absolute Apple icon over the last 10 years has really moulded a certain way a phone should be in your brain, never really feeling as though the phone is truly yours and feeling as though you’re not able to customise the device you use so frequently as and when you please.
Being 6 months into the year and deciding to get the Google Pixel 6 was probably one of the best things I’ve done so far. The phone is easy to hold, sitting comfortably in one and both hands and with a case on is not slippery at all. One thing I’m thankful for with the Google Pixel 6 is how flat it is on surfaces and how the phone design in general really does serve its purpose.
Since having the phone, I have had the pleasure of being in time for June’s update, with changes to the phone and system that you’ll see online. The phone’s fingerprint scanner has improved and after having a play around with the camera there’s no fault I can make of this device.
The real test will be travel. I will post another review in the middle of July with how I found the phone in long distance travel (to Italy to be exact). The phone’s camera has really impressed me on this, especially the back (main) camera, which I’d even go as far to say is better than iPhone, and not to mention the Magic Eraser Tool, not having to worry about photos not being how you picture them.
Overall
In summary to this review, the Pro’s outweigh the cons to the Google Pixel 6 as I’m not too sure I’ve come across any cons yet. The phone is fantastic and a real delight from an Apple’s perspective.
